Good food and relaxing baths. the meals were great and the baths helped to ease all the tension in my body. the hotel is also located in a convenient spot, with many attractions just a short walk away.
The room was not comfortable and the customer service was disappointing. the bedding was too hard and the air conditioning system was not working properly.

In pretty much in all areas of the hotel, this hotel had great facilities and excellent quality of amenities provided. The hotel's onsens were wonderfully setup, and the location was in the center of town, close to the main attraction. The staff was kind and spoke English.
Nothing, all was good.

Spent Christmas at a traditional Japanese inn, and I have to say, it was an amazing experience! The tatami mats were so cozy, and sleeping on a futon was surprisingly comfortable. The hot springs were top-notch, and I felt so relaxed after soaking in them. Plus, the location was ideal. It was just a short walk to the main attractions, like the town center and the onsen area.
The meals could have been better. I was expecting more from the food, especially since it was a special holiday.

We had an amazing stay at this hotel, it truly felt luxurious. the Spa & wellness centre and Sauna were exclusive and provided us with an unforgettable experience. the room advantages were exceptional, with comfortable bedding and private facilities we felt like royalty.
The service was excellent, however, on one occasion our room wasn't cleaned until late in the afternoon which was a minor issue. this hotel exceeded our expectations and fulfilled all of our luxurious needs.

Not too far from the city center and transportation. There was some complimentary water and snacks in the room which were nice touches.
Rooms were not as clean as I'd hoped. It didn't seem like the linens had been changed, and the bathroom could have used more attention.

This ryokan is centrally located near all the tourist attractions. the rooms are traditional with tatami floors and under table heaters. the baths are wonderful and include communal and private options. the food is exquisite, including a traditional Japanese breakfast. the ryokan also offers a collection and drop off service from Shinjuku in Tokyo.
Some staff do not speak English well and may not explain all the amenities, which can be frustrating for non-Japanese speaking tourists.

The rooms were fantastic and spacious. However, there was only one minor issue - the air conditioning could not be adjusted to personal preferences.
